Back To Basics

When you live a life of haste and turmoil... we tend to forget our roots, where we came from and who our creator is. All of us are guilty of saying we are to busy for religion or we need to attend a show on Sunday, instead of going to church.

But, have you ever thought of it in a different light...God never puts your life and your prayers aside to finish watching his favorite sopie, nor does he hide your concerns in a drawer to go have some fun in the sun whilst you worry yourself sick.

Al tough people might think this is true, it is not. Have you not once thought that if you always got what you wanted immediately after you asked for it, that it could have been disastrous...?
God is omniscient, and he has a great plan for your life. If you always get what you want, how can God use you for the purpose he has planned before your birth...?

People are the only specie that changes for the worst, endangering not only us and virtually all life on earth, but also our home (Earth).

We need to remember our roots, manners, values, and learn to make God a big part of our lives again. The best way to describe what we should be like is to visualize our souls as being a candle... When life gets dark you need to light your candle, which enable you to see in the dark, and be strong in facing the demons of life. The only thing that can ignite your soul is God...let him be the source of light in your life, for you can not find it elsewhere.

The last part about your light source, I heard our pastor say in church last week. I just revised it slightly.
