Be the black sheep! ;)

Take a moment to sit on this for a while... For those who have already over come this, think back, ok...

As strange as this may sound, the other night I got out the shower and as I walked passed the mirror I glanced at myself standing there. As per usual I stop to critically look at my body and what I need to improve on it.(This of course is a minor, because I know that I need to loose some more weight to improve my health.)

Then I took it up a notch, looking at things that I can not change. It came to me that I found flaws on my body that does not exist. We are so used to comparing our selves with the models in magazines, that we see flaws that do not exist. But we create these obsessions in our minds. We all want to look like THEM.
I mean you can take a perfectly normal girl with an amazing figure and make her believe that there is something wrong with her, by showing her pictures of what people look like in magazines and in the media.

I think in the end we all just seek acceptance, love and a feeling of self respect. There is the illusion that we will be generally accepted and loved if we are so skinny that we look sick, have plastic surgery done and change our lives.

I say, love yourself for who you are. Don't try to fit in...cause when you look like all the rest, what makes you unique? If you become like all the rest, think of how easily you can be replaced in any relationship or community.

Be bold, stand out, love you for you and the world will too... But most of all...remember to live life at large!
